The food overall was very solid. Not the best pho I’ve ever had, but still very good. The banh mi was well balanced with fresh veggies and marinated pork. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and the restaurant appeared clean and well maintained. Would definitely come back to try more items on the menu! Glad to have found a good spot for Vietnamese food in Indiana

This restaurant is really good! I ordered the pho (noodle soup) and vietnamise tacos were amazing, the meat was super tender and the pork belly bao was delicious, I recommend this place if you like Vietnamese food or if you have not tried it is a good place to do it, you will take a very good experience!

I went in here for the first time and when I walked in I already loved it. I ordered my food and it was amazing! So, naturally, I asked if they were hiring. Turns out they were, and now I work there. Usually when you work at a place you get tired of the food. But NOPE! It's still so good. There are so many great options and my coworkers and bosses are fantastic. Couldn't ask for a better place to go

Traveling for business and stopped in for a bite and was left completely impressed! The bao buns were pillowy soft and packed with juicy, flavorful pork belly, balanced perfectly with pickled veggies and a tangy sauce. Each bite was satisfying and full of texture. The cucumber and pork salad was another highlight—refreshing, crunchy, and vibrant with a hint of sweetness and heat. It paired especially well with the house-made sriracha-style sauce (a must-try if you like a little kick!). What really elevated the experience was the service. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made great recommendations without being overbearing. From start to finish, it felt like they genuinely cared about ensuring a great dining experience. It's definitely a spot worth returning to—great food, a relaxed vibe, and top-notch hospitality.

I love coming here! The staff are so pleasant and nice! I always get the beef pho and it absolutely never disappoints! It is so good that even my picky eater of a daughter (6) LOVES the chicken pho! We also get the chicken teriyaki rice dish and it is so good! All of the ingredients taste and are so fresh! This place has never disappointed me! Will always come back for more!

Chao Vietnamese Street Food is a must-try! recently had their pork bún, and it was absolutely fantastic. The flavors were fresh and vibrant, the pork was perfectly cooked, and the whole dish was incredibly satisfying. It's clear they use high-quality ingredients and put a lot of care into their food. The atmosphere is also lively and welcoming. highly recommend Chao for anyone craving authentic and delicious Vietnamese cuisine. definitely be back!

Wow, their food is amazing! We had pho and bahn mi. Fantastic. For dessert, photo attached, we had coffee ice cream over pandan flavored waffle. Absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend. The two young men serving were very kind and attentive. A

Feeling for something different I stopped as a chance! The atmosphere felt entrepreneurial, you the feeling, the owner is all in, loves and really cares. It's clean and inviting, and its street food, I get it! My waitstaff person was really cute, just overall. I'm talking about her presentation, she was bright, sincere, genuine and as we talked, she shared her love for the food. She was very nice. I looked the menu over and notice the simplicity found in a great variety. After ordering, I listened in as her and another staff member chatted while bussing tables, and they both were sweet young women working for honest reasons. You'd like them too. When my order came, it presented really colorful with varied produce. The Spring Rolls were assembled perfectly, and chubby, and as I dipped the peanut sauce, my fingers got messy. But I didn't care. It was DELICIOUS, crunchy and the flavors were clean and fresh! My Vietnamese style sandwich had the same care of presentation, clearly made with pride. It was wonderful too. The combination of meat and veggies with the bun choice was truly excellent. You just didn't want to swallow, chewing this blend of color and marinated meat... but the next bite was just begging you, 'come and get it!' Everything about this really gave me what I was looking for. Even when the check came, the value for the flavors, care, every yummy sound I made was in line with a fair price. Really, what I found was all first-class street food at a price anyone could agree was worth every penny. I'm going back, because there's more to enjoy at these prices. It was great fun and the food is really, very-very good! Special thanks to my waitstaff for how you represented yourself and the business you enjoy sharing. Well-done all! James
